Beware All Ye Who Enter Here! A Ranter Runs Amok ...
The page that follows is the result of some of the frustrations and anger I feel at constantly being confronted by the effects of the mindless waste and despoilment of our natural, wild, and magickal places. The loss of beauty and habitat is not worth the temporary monetary gain! It is unfortunate that we cannot find a way to satisfy our urges to be human, our needs to be sheltered, clothed, fed, and entertained, and to end our foolish and pointless quest for the sangreal of security - both "national" and personal.
We are none of us innocent. Try as we might, our impacts upon this living web of life we depend upon for that shelter, clothing, food and recreation, and yes - security, are not something to be taken lightly, for even the lightest touch, in congruence with millions of other "light touches" has a cumulative effect. So in your mind, add to your "personal" imprint and that of your neighbors the effects of heavy industry, logging, mining, dams, roads, housing tracts, super-malls, landfills, the cattle industry, smog, water diversion, and all of that other yucky stuff that few want to admit dependence on yet all are guilty (in varying degree) of perpetuating.
Yes, including my opinionated little self. Sorry.
